IceHogs to Honor Frontline Workers This Weekend During Pregame Warm Ups
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a group on individuals whose efforts have gone above and beyond to protect the Stateline community and putting the needs of others first: Rockford’s healthcare heroes and frontline workers.

During pregame warm ups tonight and Monday, March 22 at BMO Harris Bank Center, each IceHogs player will wear the name of a healthcare hero or frontline worker in the Rockford community on their jersey nameplate. As an additional thank you from the IceHogs, those heroes will receive that jersey directly from the team. More details will be coming soon.

McLaughlin Nets Back-To-Back OT Winners
Forward Dylan McLaughlin's back-to-back OT game-winning goals is the first time an IceHogs player has buried consecutive OT winners since Dylan Sikura during the 2017-18 season. Sikura potted overtime goals on Dec. 2 and Dec. 7, 2018 vs. San Antonio and Grand Rapids.

McLaughlin Looking to Tie Overtime Mark
McLaughlin's two overtime goals this season is tied for second in IceHogs AHL history. Forward Dylan Sikura and defenseman Darren Raddysh set the record with three OT goals each during the 2018-19 season.

Tomkins Racking Up the Saves
Goaltender Matt Tomkins set career marks in saves in back-to-back games for the IceHogs. After 42 stops at Grand Rapids on Saturday, he picked up 46 saves on Tuesday in the 2-1 OT win. He has the three highest save totals by and IceHogs goaltender since Kevin Lankinen's team-record 55 saves on Dec. 12, 2019 vs. Milwaukee

Lankinen, 12/10/19 vs. MIL (55 saves)

Tomkins, 3/16/21 at GR (46 saves)

Tomkins, 3/13/21 at GR (42 saves)

Tomkins, 2/1/20 vs. MIL (41 saves)

Pirri Returns to IceHogs
On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks announced that forward Brandon Pirri would be re-assigned to the IceHogs. Pirri has two goals and an assist in two games with the Hogs this season and is two goals away from tying Mark McNeill (72) for second all-time in IceHogs goal scoring. Jeremy Morin leads that category with 90 markers.
