IceHogs Community Fund

The IceHogs Community Fund (ICF), supported by the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation, is invested in making a positive social impact by supporting initiatives that will help make the Rockford region a better place to work, live, and play. Through partnerships with local organizations, the ICF is dedicated to growing the game of hockey by working to broaden exposure and reduce barriers to the sport.

Life Decisions | $20,000 | To secure a vehicle that anticipate will increase youth participation up to 30% within 3 specific programs (Day Home Drop-In and Program use, Primary Mentoring & Work Now Program) |
Rock House Kids | $5,000 | For installation of basketball hoop in multipurpose gym |
Rockford Area Arts Council | $20,000 | To provide increased access to the arts for the youth in the Rockford Region through Spark! program |
Rockford Hockey Club | $20,000 | To Rockford Hockey Club to continue to help reduce season fees for 8U players and increase participation at all levels, plus fund formation of new girls program |
Rockford Park District Buddy Hockey | $10,000 | Serve 20-25 youth, 20-25 teens, and 20-25 adults with disabilities and introduce them to hockey |
Rockford Park District Street Hockey | $13,000 | Introduce 10,500 youth and teens to the sport of hockey |
Rockford Raptors Soccer | $10,000 | To provide scholarships for players with financial challenges to compete |
Rosecrance | $20,000 | To install a basketball court at The Rosecrance Marlowe House for recovering youth aged 16-19 residing at Marlowe |
Think Big! | $10,000 | To expand Think Big! School of Business 3.0 and increase Think Big! workshops participation for aspiring entrepreneurs |
