Since the IceHogs inception in 1999, the team has prided itself in giving back to the community.
Autism Awareness Night
The IceHogs will host their Annual Autism Awareness Night on Jan. 25, 2020 against the Milwaukee Admirals at 6 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
The Rockford IceHogs are proud to support our military veterans and first responders. In appreciation to their commitment to our country and community, the IceHogs will honor our Hometown Heroes throughout the 2019-20 season.
Beginning in 2010, the Rockford IceHogs have hosted an Annual Bowl-a-Thon at Cherry Bowl in Rockford and benefits local charities.

Teddy Bear Toss
Each season around the holidays, the IceHogs host the Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are invited to being new stuffed animals to the select game and after the IceHogs score their first goal, fans toss the stuffed animals onto the ice.
IceHogs Reading Program
The Rockford IceHogs Reading Program is designed to encourage students grades K-6 to read in and out of the classroom.
Rockford Youth Hockey
The IceHogs are teamed up with the Rockford Park District to form the Jr. IceHogs Youth Hockey Program with the goal of the teaching young players how to work together.
