The IceHogs Community Fund is invested a positive social impact by supporting initiatives that will help make the Rockford region a better place to work, live, and play. Over the last four years, the IceHogs Community Fund has awarded $412,000 in grants to Rockford area nonprofit organizations.

Submit a Birthday or Anniversary
Want to celebrate a friend or family member's birthday or anniversary in style? Do you have a momentous occasion to mark and you're doing it at the IceHogs game? Let us know about your birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion and we'll do our best to put it on the video board during the game.
Nominate a Hometown Hero
The IceHogs are requesting nominations for members of our local community who are currently serving or formerly served in the military, or any local resident who has done something extraordinary for our community, to be recognized at an IceHogs game.
Teddy Bear Toss
Each season around the holidays, fans are invited to bring new stuffed animals to the Teddy Bear Toss game and after the IceHogs score their first goal, fans toss the stuffed animals onto the ice. The stuffed animals are then collected and distributed throughout the community to children of need to help brighten their holiday season!
Annual Live Jersey Auction
The IceHogs Community Fund's signature charity fundraiser is the annual Live Jersey Auction. The IceHogs have raised over one million dollars through the Live Jersey Auction over the years, including a record-setting $84,633 in 2024.
Land Acknowledgement
The IceHogs continue to grow in our commitments to honor and celebrate Black Hawk's legacy by collaborating with Native American people, making meaningful contributions, and reimagining ways to support Native American people.
