Fans can win many ways during matchup with Rivermen

, Ill.- Kris Versteeg and Tommy Hawk just couldn’t bear to miss out on Chicago Blackhawks Night at the MetroCentre on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The former IceHogs winger and Blackhawks mascot, respectively, have been added to the list of fan favorites who will attend the hotly anticipated event presented by Taco Bell and 13 WREX. Before the Hogs drop the puck against the Peoria Rivermen at 7:05 p.m., fans will get to meet several members of the Blackhawks squad.

In addition to Versteeg and Tommy Hawk, Blackhawks assistant coach Mike Haviland along with forwards Troy Brouwer, Colin Fraser, defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson and goalie Antti Niemi will also be at the game signing autographs beginning at 6 p.m. until 6:55 p.m. The group will then be signing autographs at the first intermission.

The IceHogs, along with Taco Bell and 13 WREX, are also giving away three sets of five executive suite tickets and 11 pairs of executive level sideline tickets to the game. To enter to win,

The Blackhawks Bud Light Ice Crew will be in attendance as well.
Fans can sign up at the game in the upper concourse to be randomly selected to compete in a shootout contest for $100 in Taco Bell Bucks.

The IceHogs will be hosting a silent auction during the game with proceeds benefiting the IceHogs Charitable Foundation and Blackhawks Charities. Some of the items on the auction block include autographed
University of Wisconsin jerseys from Adam Burish, Jake Dowell and Jack Skille, and tickets to a Blackhawks game that include a limo ride to and from the UnitedCenter.

Fans can come early to the game and watch a pair of youth hockey games before the IceHogs-Rivermen tilt. Two Jr. IceHogs teams will take on two Jr. Blackhawks teams on the MetroCentre ice. The first game will start at 1:30 p.m. and a ticket to the IceHogs-Rivermen game will get you into the youth hockey games.
