IceHogs are 4-2-0-0 after six games of seven game swing
Week 18 Recap
After reeling off four straight wins on their seven-game road swing, the Rockford IceHogs’ offense went cold during Week 18. In three games during Week 18, Rockford scored just four goals, coming away with one win. The IceHogs seven-game roadie will come to an end on Wednesday and Rockford will finally return home on Friday to face off against Peoria.

Hot Hog Week 18:
Defenseman Tim Hambly chipped two points in three games during 18 of the 2008-09 AHL regular season. Hambly assisted on both of Rockford’s goals on Friday and Saturday and leads the IceHogs with two short handed assists. The White Bear Lake, Minn. native also registered a plus/minus rating of +1 for the IceHogs.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Peoria Rivermen. Game time is 7 p.m. The seventh and final game of the IceHogs season-long road swing happens on Wednesday in Peoria. The game is the front end of a home-and-home series between the two clubs.
Friday, Feb. 13 vs. Peoria Rivermen. Rockford returns home at 7:30 p.m. The IceHogs come home after a 19 day hiatus to take on the Rivermen. The first 1,500 kids to the game 14-and-under will receive an IceHogs Youth Jersey courtesy of Feldco Windows and Doors, FOX 39 and 104.9 FM, WXRX.
Saturday, Feb. 14 vs. Rochester Americans. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs and Amerks meet up for the second time in February and for the final time in 2008-09. Clodius and Company will give away over $5,000 worth of merchandise at the game. The game is also sponsored by B103.

Bud Light Hog Talk returns tonight at Cousin’s Bar and Grill. Join Jim Stone from 6-7 p.m. at Cousin’s as he chats IceHogs hockey with Hogs Head Coach Bill Peters. Tonight’s show will also feature goalie Antti Niemi and center Judd Blackwater. Stop out to Cousin’s, located on the corner of East State St. and Perryville in Rockford, and take advantage of some great food and Bud Light specials.
