Akim Aliu Aliu was held scoreless as Sudbury fell to Belleville 2-1 Tuesday in Game 4 of the OHL Playoffs first round series, and in a 6-2 win over the club in Game 5 Wednesday. In 29 regular-season games with Sudbury (26-35-7), Aliu recorded 10 goals, 16 assists and 61 penalty minutes. He has one goal, one assist and 14 penalty minutes in five playoff games. |
Kyle Beach Beach was held scoreless as Lethbridge lost to Saskatoon 3-1 in Game 3 of the WHL Playoffs first round series Tuesday, and in a 2-1 win over the club in Game 4 Wednesday. He registered a goal in a 3-1 win over the club in Game 5 Saturday. In 24 regular-season appearances with Lethbridge (35-32-5) this season, Beach tallied 15 goals, 18 assists and 59 penalty minutes. He has one goal and 13 penalty minutes in four playoff games. |
Jonathan Carlsson Carlsson was held scoreless as Brynäs IF fell to Färjestads BK 4-0 Monday, March 9 and posted a 2-1 season-ending loss to the club on Wednesday, March 11. In 55 contests this season, he had one assist and 78 penalty minutes. |
Simon Danis-Pepin Danis-Pepin was held scoreless in a 2-1 loss against Boston Univ. in the first game of the best-of-three Hockey East Quarterfinals March 13. He tallied two assists the next night in a 6-3 win and recorded an assist on March 16, a 6-2 loss that knocked Maine (13-22-4) out of the playoffs. In 36 games, Danis-Pepin had 13 assists and 29 penalty minutes. |
Peter LeBlanc LeBlanc scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, as the University of New Hampshire defeated the University of North Dakota 6-5 on Saturday in the NCAA Northeast Regional semifinal game. He tallied an assist as New Hampshire fell to Boston University 2-1 in the NCAA regional finals Sunday. In 38 contests, LeBlanc tallied 14 goals, 16 assists and 8 penalty minutes for the Wildcats (20-13-5) this season. |
Shawn Lalonde Lalonde registered an assist as Belleville defeated Sudbury 2-1 Tuesday in Game 4 of the OHL Playoffs first round series. He was held scoreless in a 6-2 loss to the club in Game 5 Wednesday. In 66 regular-season contests, Lalonde tallied 19 goals, 35 assists and 73 penalty minutes for the Bulls (47-17-4) this season. He has one assist and 11 penalty minutes in five playoff games. |

Igor Makarov Makarov tallied a goal as St. Petersburg fell to Spartak 3-2 March 5 in the third and final playoff game against the club. The loss dropped St. Petersburg out of the playoffs. Makarov finishes with nine goals, eight assists and 61 penalty minutes in 42 games this year. |
Ben Smith Smith registered a goal as B.C. was knocked out of the Hockey East Semifinals in a 3-2 loss to Boston University Friday. In 37 contests this season, Smith had six goals, 11 assists and six penalty minutes. The Eagles end the season with an 18-14-5 record. |
Bill Sweatt Sweatt was held scoreless as C.C. was knocked out of the WCHA Playoffs with 4-1 and 3-1 losses to Minnesota Duluth Friday and Saturday (March 13-14). In 37 contests, Sweatt had 12 goals, 11 assists and 28 penalty minutes. Colorado College finished the season with a 16-12-10 record. |
Josh Unice Unice entered the game during the second period Wednesday, securing a 6-3 win over Owen Sound to advance Windsor into the second round of the OHL Playoffs. Unice has appeared in 12 regular-season games for Windsor (57-10-1), logging 674 minutes, a 2.67 GAA and a .908 SV%. He has appeared in two playoff games, recording a 1.50 GAA and a .950 SV% in 80:00. |
