Akim Aliu

Aliu tallied a goal and an assist as Sudbury fell to Sault Ste. Marie 6-4 Wednesday. In a 4-2 loss to Plymouth Friday, he registered a goal. Aliu was held scoreless the following evening in a 5-1 loss to Mississauga. Since being traded to Sudbury, Aliu has seven goals, seven assists and 45 penalty minutes. Sudbury is currently 22-29-6 on the season.

Beach was held scoreless as Lethbridge defeated Kamloops 2-0 Friday. He was named the second star of the game and registered a goal in a 3-0 win over Red Deer Friday. In 15 appearances with Lethbridge this season, Beach has 12 goals, 10 assists and 32 penalty minutes. The club is currently 30-25-5 on the year.
