Rockford, IL – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), rematch against the Iowa Wild today at 4:00 p.m. at BMO Harris Bank Center. Today is the third of 10 scheduled meetings between the two clubs.

IceHogs Claim Game 1 of Weekend Set Last Night
Defenseman Cody Franson scored two goals and an assist, defenseman Nicolas Beaudin added three assists and goaltender Collin Delia tied a season-high 35 saves in a 3-2 win over the Wild last night at BMO Harris Bank Center. Beaudin enters today on a three-game assist streak with six assists after his three-assist performance last night.

Franson And Beaudin Are Hot Hogs
Franson enters today on a three-game point streak with two goals and three assists for five points and earning his second three-point game (Feb. 6 vs. CHI, 3 assists) last night. Beaudin also enters today on a three-game point streak with six assists.

From the Three-Point Line
Franson and Beaudin became the third and fourth IceHogs skaters to have three-point games this season after Franson picked up three assists on Feb. 6 vs. Chicago, Tim Soderlund added three assists on Feb. 23 vs. Cleveland.

Delia Bounces Back with Massive Performance
Collin Delia earned his first win of the season in this third appearance last night with 35 saves against the Wild. His save total ties Cale Morris for the season-high from his 35 stops on Feb. 23, also a 3-2 win, over Cleveland.

Homestand Chugs Along
The IceHogs continue a four-game homestand with their third game of the stand today against the Wild and wraps up against the Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday, Mar. 11. The homestand is tied for the longest for the IceHogs this season with their previous four-game homestand from Feb. 16-23 vs. Chicago, Grand Rapids and Cleveland.

Kalynuk and Carlsson Head to Chicago
Just before puck drop yesterday, the IceHogs announced that defenseman Lucas Carlsson and Wyatt Kalynuk would be re-assigned to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL). Carlsson scored a goal in his lone game with the IceHogs on Wednesday vs. Grand Rapids after being assigned to the team earlier that morning. Kalynuk departed as the team’s leading scorer, tied for 16th among AHL rookies and tied for ninth among league defensemen with six points in four games this season.

Pirri Climbing Up IceHogs Record Book
Forward Brandon Pirri is two goals away from tying Mark McNeill (72) for second all-time in IceHogs goal scoring. Jeremy Morin leads that category with 90 markers.

Mitchell Closing In On 500 Professional Games
Through 496 professional games in the NHL, AHL, ECHL and overseas, IceHogs team captain Garrett Mitchell has racked up 71 goals and 85 assists for 156 points.

Home-and-Home Series
This season’s head-to-head vs. Iowa features large chunks of time between BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford and Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The IceHogs host the Wild for four straight games (Mar. 6-7, 19-20) at BMO Harris Bank Center and then visit Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA for five-straight (Apr. 13, 23-24, May 7) before closing the year at Rockford on May 9.
