
HOGS SEEK BACK-TO-BACK WINS AT MANITOBA

Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs match up against the Manitoba Moose Saturday night at the MTS Centre for the final meeting of the season between the two teams.
Puck drop is 7 p.m. and fans can tune in to all the action on The Justice Network 23.3 or Dish Network Channel 252, beginning with IceHogs Warmup at 6:30 p.m. IceHogs fans can also listen to the game at WXRX.com or sportsfanradio1330.com, or watch live at AHLlive.com.
Matchup: The IceHogs enter tonight’s game after snapping a seven-game skid with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Moose Friday night at Manitoba. Rockford is 4-2-0-1 in the series and has secured three of those victories on Manitoba’s home ice.
Forward rookie Anthony Louis notched the game-winning shootout goal on Friday in his first professional game and Kyle Baun recorded his 13th goal and team-leading 29th point in the win. Defenseman Erik Gustafsson, who leads Rockford in assists (22) on the season, enters Saturday as the IceHogs' top-scorer against the Moose with 1g-6a-7pts.
Manitoba, ranked eighth in the Central Division, is led in points by rookies Jack Roslovic, Kyle Connor, and Dan DeSalvo, who have totaled a combined 104 points for the Moose. Against the Hogs, blueliner Peter Stoykewych paces all Manitoba skaters with 2g-4a-6pts in seven games.
Next Home Game: Saturday, March 25 vs. Grand Rapids, 7 p.m. The IceHogs host Country Night with the first 1,500 fans in attendance receiving a cowboy boot mug, courtesy of Pepsi and Dusty Boots. The Hogs will also host their fourth annual Sock Drive with donations benefitting Project Undershare.
