Manitoba and Hershey head to Pennsylvania for Game 3 on Saturday

Rockford, Ill. – A Jason Jaffray hat trick led the Manitoba Moose to a 3-1 win over the Hersey Bears to even the Calder Cup Finals at 1-1 in Game 2 on Tuesday in the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The Bears jumped out to an early lead with a goal from Alexandre Giroux at 12:31 in the first period. Jaffray struck back in the second period to even the score and then added an even-strength and power-play empty-net goal in the final minute of the game to give the Moose the evening victory.

In Game 1, the Bears came back from a 3-1 deficit in the third period to win 5-4 in overtime. Giroux slapped in the game winner at 13:33 in overtime, giving him a hat trick for the night.

Former IceHogs forward Greg Rallo has been held scoreless in both Finals games with the Moose. Another former Hogs forward, Dusty Collins, earned an assist in Game 1.
