Rockford, Ill. - SwedishAmerican Foundation is excited to announce it received a $10,000 corporate donation today from the Rockford IceHogs, through the IceHogs Charitable Foundation.
The $10,000 donation will benefit SwedishAmerican’s patients and their families through investment in cancer care programs and services.
“Through our partnership with generous community organizations like the Rockford IceHogs, SwedishAmerican continues to offer our patients and their families local access to state-of-the-art cancer treatment and support services,” says SwedishAmerican Foundation Director Laura Wilkinson, “including access to the region’s largest number of oncology physicians and a nationally-certified staff of nurses, radiation therapists, physicists, social workers, pharmacists, chaplains, and dieticians who offer comprehensive and compassionate care.”
The funds were raised through the IceHogs “Hockey Fights Cancer Night” on November 23, 2018.
