Blackhawks defenseman Brent Sopel will make a special appearance at the Meijer Store in Elgin on Saturday to promote healthy living through a cooking workshop demonstration with Meijer Healthy Living Advisor Maribel Cabrales. Sopel will don the apron and help Maribel cook a healthy version of Chicken Parmesan. From 3:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sopel will sign autographs.
