Hammy and Hammer will both be around town this weekend
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs front office staff and mascots will be at three locations in the Rockford area on Saturday.
Hammy will be on hand at the Rockford Public Library’s Amazing Read! Kick-Off Party at the Rockford Public Library’s main branch, 215 N. Wyman St., from 11 a.m. to noon. Be one of the first people to register for the library’s summer reading club -- The Amazing Read! – and then stay for a 24-foot climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable moonwalk, crafts, face painting and music. The first 1,000 kids to register at the party will receive a FREE t-shirt.
Hammer will be joining the Lion’s Club at their Fish and Fun Cookout at Rock Cut State Park from 10 a.m. to noon.
Several members of the IceHogs staff will also join Honorary IceHog Sydney Ives at her benefit at Cherry Bowl at 7 p.m. Ives was named an honorary member of the Rockford IceHogs at a press conference in May.
