Week 4 Recap:
The Rockford IceHogs grabbed an Illinois Lottery Cup Series win over the Peoria Rivermen and went 1-2 in Week 4. The Texas Stars power play was too much for the IceHogs on Tuesday, as the Stars converted on three of five man advantage opportunities on the night to defeat the IceHogs at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Rockford’s offense gained momentum on Friday with an Illinois Lottery Cup Series victory in Peoria, but the IceHogs fell to the same Rivermen in Rockford on Saturday.

After scoring three goals over a three game stretch, Rockford tallied a team season-high six goals on Friday at Peoria
Center Brett McLean notched his 450th career point on Saturday

Brian Connelly reached the 100-point plateau on Saturday, becoming just the fifth player during the IceHogs’ AHL era to reach 100 points

Hot Hog: Week 4:
Brett McLean Center
Rockford’s veteran center Brett McLean broke out with three goals during Week 4 after being held scoreless in his first seven games. McLean notched two goals on Friday in Rockford’s 6-4 win at Peoria, including the game-winner. The center followed that up with a goal and an assist on Saturday, including his 450th career point. On the season, McLean has totaled 3g-5a-8pts, second most on the IceHogs.
Upcoming Games:
Sunday, Nov. 6 vs. Charlotte: The puck gets on the ice at 5:05 p.m as the Rockford IceHogs battle the Charlotte Checkers at the BMO Harris Bank Center in the first ever match up between the two teams. The new divisional foes will face off eight times during the campaign. After the contest, fans can participate in the season’s first Skate with the IceHogs. IceHogs pucks will be given to the first 1,000 kids 14 and under courtesy of Vienna Beef.
Bud Light Hog Talk Takes a Night Off:
Bud Light Hog Talk won’t make it’s weekly Monday appearance at Granite City Food and Brewery tonight. Hog Talk will return to the normal time and place next week. Granite City is located at 7140 Harrison Ave. next to CherryVale Mall. Fans can join Mike Peck from 6-7 p.m. most Mondays as he chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. Take advantage of food and Bud Light specials. If you can't make it to Granite City, tune into 1330 AM WNTA.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all of the IceHogs regular-and post-season games on the Hogs’ flagship radio station, Rockford’s Voice, WNTA-AM 1330 and 30 regular season games on ESPN Radio 1380-AM, WTJK. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with AHL Live! Also, fans with Comcast Cable television in Rockford can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action at the BMO Harris Bank Center this season. All Saturday home games will also be televised on My Network TV digital subchannel 17.2 along with Comcast and Charter Cable channel 16. The broadcast begins with the U.S. Cellular Pregame Show 30 minutes before the puck drops.
