Akim Aliu Aliu registered an assist as Sudbury fell to Belleville 5-2 Friday. He was named the second star of the game Saturday after tallying two assists in a 3-2 win over Niagara and was held scoreless the following evening in a 5-4 overtime loss to Mississauga. In 29 games with Sudbury (26-35-7), Aliu has 10 goals, 16 assists and 61 penalty minutes. |
Kyle Beach Beach was held scoreless in a victory over Kootenay 4-1 Friday and recorded an assist in a 4-1 loss against the club the next evening. He tallied two assists in a 6-2 loss to Calgary Sunday. In 24 appearances with Lethbridge (35-32-5) this seaso, Beach has 15 goals, 18 assists and 59 penalty minutes. |
Jonathan Carlsson Carlsson was held scoreless as Brynäs IF fell to Färjestads BK 4-0 Monday and posted a 2-1 loss to the club on Wednesday. In 55 contests this season, he has one assist and 78 penalty minutes. |
Simon Danis-Pepin Danis-Pepin was held scoreless in a 2-1 loss against Boston Univ. in the first game of the best-of-three Hockey East Quarterfinals last weekend. He tallied two assists the next night in a 6-3 win and recorded an assist in Sunday's 6-2 loss that knocked Maine (13-22-4) out of the playoffs. In 36 games, Danis-Pepin had 13 assists and 29 penalty minutes. |
Shawn Lalonde Lalonde registered an assist as Belleville shutout Peterborough 4-0 Wednesday. He was named the first star of the game Friday in a 5-2 win over Sudbury, tallying a goal and two assists. He also posted an assist the following evening in a 3-2 win over Barrie. In 66 contests, Lalonde has 19 goals, 35 assists and 73 penalty minutes for the Bulls (47-17-4) this season. |

Igor Makarov Makarov tallied a goal as St. Petersburg fell to Spartak 3-2 March 5 in the third and final playoff game against the club. The loss dropped St. Petersburg out of the running. In 42 games this season, Makarov finishes with nine goals, eight assists and 61 penalty minutes. |
Ben Smith Smith tallied an assist as B.C. defeated New Hampshire 5-3 in game one of the best-of-three Hockey East Quarterfinals Friday. He was held scoreless the next night, a 1-0 win. B.C. will move on to the semifinals Fri., March 20. In 36 contests this season, Smith has five goals, 11 assists and six penalty minutes. The Eagles are currently 18-13-5 on the season. |
Bill Sweatt Sweatt was held scoreless as C.C. was knocked out of the WCHA playoffs in a 4-1 and 3-1 losses to Minnesota Duluth Friday and Saturday. In 37 contests, Sweatt had 12 goals, 11 assists and 28 penalty minutes. Colorado College finished the season with a 16-12-10 record. |
Josh Unice Unice did not appear as Windsor defeated Plymouth 5-1 Thursday. He recorded 33 saves in a 5-2 loss to Kitchener Friday and made 27 saves in a 3-2 loss to Owen Sound Saturday. Unice has appeared in 12 games for Windsor (57-10-1), logging 674 minutes, a 2.67 GAA and a .908 SV%. |
