Akim Aliu Aliu had the lone goal as Sudbury was knocked out of the first round of the OHL Playoffs in a 6-1 loss to Belleville Monday. In 29 regular-season games with Sudbury (26-35-7), Aliu recorded 10 goals, 16 assists and 61 penalty minutes. He had two goals, one assist and 14 penalty minutes in six playoff games. |
Kyle Beach Beach was held scoreless as Lethbridge lost to Saskatoon 5-1 in Game 6 of the WHL Playoffs first round series Monday and registered an assist in a 4-3 win in Game 7 Wednesday, sending Lethbridge to the Second Round. He was held scoreless as Lethbridge fell to Calgary 7-1 and 2-1 in the first two games of the series on Friday and Sunday. In 24 regular-season appearances with Lethbridge (35-32-5), Beach tallied 15 goals, 18 assists and 59 penalty minutes. He has one goal, one assist and 27 penalty minutes in eight playoff games. |
Jonathan Carlsson Brynäs IF ended their season with a 4-0 loss to Färjestads BK March 11. In 55 contests this season, Carlsson had one assist and 78 penalty minutes. |
Simon Danis-Pepin Maine's (13-22-4) season ended March 16, in a 6-2 loss to Boston University that knocked the club out of the playoffs. In 36 games, Danis-Pepin had 13 assists and 29 penalty minutes. |
Peter LeBlanc New Hampshire ended the season in 2-1 loss to Boston University in the NCAA Regional Finals March 29. In 38 contests, LeBlanc tallied 14 goals, 16 assists and 8 penalty minutes for the Wildcats (20-13-5) this season. |
Shawn Lalonde Lalonde registered a goal and an assist as Belleville defeated Sudbury 6-1 Monday, in Game 6 of the OHL Playoffs first round series, moving the club to the next round. He tallied two assists in a 4-2 win over Niagara in Game 1 of the OHL Playoffs second round series Thursday and two more assists in a 5-4 win over the club in Game 2 Friday. Lalonde was held scoreless in a 2-0 loss to Niagara in Game 3 Sunday. In 66 regular-season contests, Lalonde tallied 19 goals, 35 assists and 73 penalty minutes for the Bulls (47-17-4) this season. He has one goal, six assists and 13 penalty minutes in nine playoff games. |

Igor Makarov St. Petersburg's season ended as they fell to Spartak 3-2 March 5 in the third and final playoff game against the club, dropping them out of the playoffs. Makarov finished with nine goals, eight assists and 61 penalty minutes in 42 games this year. |
Ben Smith B.C. was knocked out of the Hockey East Semifinals in a 3-2 loss to Boston University March 27. In 37 contests this season, Smith had six goals, 11 assists and six penalty minutes. The Eagles ended the season with an 18-14-5 record. |
Bill Sweatt C.C. was knocked out of the WCHA Playoffs with a 3-1 loss to Minnesota Duluth March 14. In 37 contests, Sweatt had 12 goals, 11 assists and 28 penalty minutes. Colorado College finished the season with a 16-12-10 record. |
Josh Unice Unice logged 34 minutes of playing time and had 13 saves on 17 shots before he left the game in the second period during a 6-3 loss to Plymouth in Game 1 of the OHL PLayoffs' Second Round Thursday. He did not appear in the 8-2 win over the club Saturday in Game 2 or the 8-1 win in Game 3 Sunday. Unice has appeared in 12 regular-season games for Windsor (57-10-1), logging 674 minutes, a 2.67 GAA and a .908 SV%. He has appeared in three playoff games, recording a 3.15 GAA and a .895 SV% in 114:00. |
