Akim Aliu

Aliu was named the third star of the game Tuesday as Sudbury defeated Sault Ste. Marie 5-4, after registering an assist in the second period. He recorded a goal in the third period and was named the third star of the game Friday in a 5-3 win over Niagara. In a 9-4 loss to Own Sound Saturday, he tallied two goals in the first period. Aliu was held scoreless the following evening in a 6-3 loss to Brampton. Since being traded to Sudbury, Aliu has five goals, four assists and 34 penalty minutes. Sudbury is currently 21-24-6 on the season.

Kyle Beach

Beach did not appear as Lethbridge fell to Regina 3-2 Wednesday, lost to Calgary 3-2 Friday, and defeated Red Deer 3-0 Saturday, due to a three game suspension for his actions at the end of the game against Red Deer on Saturday, Jan. 24. In nine appearances with Lethbridge this season, Beach has nine goals, five assists and 18 penalty minutes. The club is currently 26-23-5 on the year.

Jonathan Carlsson

Carlsson was held scoreless as Brynäs IF fell to MODO Hockey 4-2 Monday, was defeated 2-1 by Skellefteå AIK Thursday, and fell to Luleå HF 5-0 Saturday. In 47 contests this season, Carlsson has one assist and 47 penalty minutes.

Simon Danis-Pepin

Danis-Pepin tallied two assists as Maine fell to UMass-Lowell 3-2 Friday, and was held scoreless in a 2-1 win over Massachusetts Sunday. In 23 games this year, Danis-Pepin has seven assists and 17 penalty minutes. The Black Bears are currently 11-12-3 on the season.

Shawn Lalonde

Lalonde registered a goal in the third period as Belleville defeated Peterborough 6-3 Thursday. He was named the second star of the game Friday after tallying two goals in the second period in a 6-5 overtime win over Ottawa. Lalonde posted an assist in the second period the following evening in a 3-2 loss to London. In 51 contests this season, Lalonde has 17 goals, 22 assists and 59 penalty minutes.

Lavin was held scoreless in a 5-2 win over Tri-City Tuesday. He registered an assist in the third period as Omaha defeated Fargo 5-3 Friday. In a 2-0 loss to Fargo Saturday, Lavin was held scoreless. He has appeared in nine games for the club since coming over from Providence University, registering three goals, five assists and 10 penalty minutes. Omaha is currently 21-13-4 on the season.

Makarov tallied an assist as St. Petersburg fell to HC MVD 2-3 in a shootout Wednesday, and was defeated by Torpedo 2-3 in a shootout Saturday. In 36 games this season, Makarov has seven goals, six assists and 55 penalty minutes.

Unice has appeared in five games for the club, logging 263 minutes, a 2.28 GAA and an .913 SV%. The Spitfires are currently 44-6-1 on the year.
