Akim Aliu Aliu registered a goal in the second period as Sudbury defeated Barrie 7-3 Wednesday. He was held scoreless in a 3-2 shootout loss to Brampton Friday. Since being traded to Sudbury, Aliu has one goal, one assist and 13 penalty minutes. Sudbury is currently 19-20-5 on the season. |
Kyle Beach Beach was named the first star of the game Tuesday after posting two goals in a 6-2 win over Moose Jaw. In a 4-3 shootout win over Prince Albert Wednesday, he had an unassisted goal in the third period. Beach was held scoreless as Lethbridge defeated Swift Current 4-2 Friday. He was named the third star of the game in a 3-2 overtime loss to Saskatoon Saturday after registering a goal in the first period. In six appearances with Lethbridge this season, Beach has six goals, two assists and six penalty minutes. The club is currently 15-8-0 on the year. |
Jonathan Carlsson Carlsson was held scoreless as Brynäs IF fell to MODO Hockey 2-1 Thursday and posted a 3-1 win over Frölunda HC Saturday. In 42 contests this season, Carlsson has one assist and 45 penalty minutes. |
Simon Danis-Pepin Danis-Pepin was held scoreless as Maine fell to Bentley 3-1 Friday and tied Providence 2-2 in overtime Sunday. In 19 games this year, Danis-Pepin has five assists and 17 penalty minutes. The Black Bears are currently 10-7-2 on the season. |
