Akim Aliu
Position: Right wing
Team: Sudbury
League: OHL
Aliu was traded back to the Sudbury Wolves Sunday. He was acquired by London from the Wolves in 2007 for a second-round draft pick. The Knights will get fourth- and sixth-round picks from the Wolves and will swap first-round spots in the 2009 Canadian Hockey League import draft. Prior to the trade, Aliu appeared in 16 games for the Knights, netting eight goals, 10 assists and 30 penalty minutes. Aliu is expected to play for the Wolves on Thursday against Brampton. Sudbury is currently 18-17-4 on the season.
Kyle Beach
Position: Left wing
Team: Everett
League: WHL
Beach posted an assist as Everett defeated Red Deer 6-3 Wednesday. He was held scoreless in a 4-0 loss to Portland on Friday and tallied 19 penalty minutes in a 4-3 loss to Seattle Saturday. In 30 appearances with Everett this season, Beach has nine goals, 21 assists and 106 penalty minutes. The club is currently 17-16-5 on the season.
Jonathan Carlsson
Position: Defense
Team: Brynäs IF
League: Sweden
Carlsson registered 25 penalty minutes as Brynäs IF defeated Rögle BK 4-1 Tuesday and posted a 2-1 win over Södertälje SK Saturday. In 37 contests this season, Carlsson has one assist and 43 penalty minutes.
Simon Danis-Pepin
Position: Defense
Team: Maine
League: Hockey East
Year: Senior
Danis-Pepin did not appear due to an ankle injury as Maine defeated USA U-18 Team 7-3 in an exhibition game Friday and fell to New Hampshire 5-4 on Sunday. In 16 games this year, Danis-Pepin has five assists and 17 penalty minutes. The Black Bears are currently 10-5-1 on the season.
Shawn Lalonde
Position: Defense
Team: Belleville
League: OHL
Lalonde registered the lone goal for Bellville as they fell to Peterborough 3-1 Thursday. He tallied two goals and two assists in a 7-4 win over Kingston Saturday and was named the second star of the game. In 40 contests this season, Lalonde has 12 goals, 18 assists and 49 penalty minutes. The Bulls are currently hold a 25-12-4 record.
Joe Lavin
Position: Defense
Team: Omaha Lancers
League: USHL
Lavin now plays for the Omaha Lancers of the USHL. He tallied an assist in the second period as Omaha defeated Sioux City 5-2 Wednesday. In a 5-3 win over Indiana Friday, he recorded another assist. The following evening in a 4-3 shootout win over Sioux City Lavin remained scoreless. He has appeared in four games for the club, registering three assists and four penalty minutes. Omaha is currently 17-10-3 on the season.
Igor Makarov

Team: St. Petersburg SKA
League: Russia
Makarov registered a goal as St. Petersburg fell to Lokomotiv 5-0 Tuesday and defeated Dynamo Riga 4-0 Saturday. In 27 games this season, Makarov has four goals, five assists and 49 penalty minutes.
Ben Smith
Position: Right wing
Team: Boston College
League: Hockey East
Year: Junior
Smith was held scoreless as Boston College fell to New Brunswick 5-3 in an exhibition game Friday and defeated them 4-2 Saturday. In 18 contests this season, Smith has two goals, six assists and two penalty minutes. B.C. is currently 9-4-2 on the season.
Bill Sweatt

Year: Junior
Colorado is on break and will return to face Minnesota State University January 9. In 22 contests, Sweatt has nine goals, eight assists and 22 penalty minutes. Colorado is currently 11-6-5 on the season.
Josh Unice

Team: Kitchener
League: OHL
Unice did not appear as Kitchener logged a 6-1 win over Brampton Tuesday, fell to Ottawa 5-1 Friday and posted a 6-4 loss to Erie on Saturday. Unice has appeared in 16 games this year, logging 876 minutes, a 3.84 GAA and an .880 SV%. The Rangers are currently 16-20-2.
