ICEHOGS TO GIVE AWAY CAR ON WENDESDAY

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs President Mark Bernard announced Wednesday that the American Hockey League club will be giving away a car to one lucky college student at the Wednesday, March 25 game against the Iowa Chops. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
Three contestants will be selected to compete on the ice for the car, courtesy of Speedway Auto Mall, during one of the intermissions. Contestants must be college students, 18 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license.
The first 1,000 fans will also get a hold of a poster of the Rockford IceHogs’ Fire & Ice Crew courtesy of Peak Fitness, Speedway Auto Mall, High Maintenance, Tanhiti and Amp.

The game is also a Student Rush night, presented by WXRX. Any high school or college students can get the best available ticket for just $10 an hour before the game.
Next Home Game: Saturday, March 21 vs. Manitoba Moose. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The Rockford IceHogs welcome the first-place Moose into the Forest City for the final of two visits in 2008-09. The first 2,000 fans can pick up a replica Goalie Mask Bank courtesy of MembersAlliance Credit Union.
