ICEHOGS SET SIX HOME DATES FOR 2009-10
Hogs set to open third AHL season in early October
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League and primary affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks, announced six prime home dates and promotions for the 2009-10 season on Thursday.
The IceHogs’ prime dates for the club’s 11th season in Rockford and third in the AHL are Saturday, Oct. 17; Saturday, Nov. 14; Wednesday, Nov. 25; Saturday, Dec. 26; Saturday, Jan. 2 and Friday, Jan. 15.
Fans will have the option to buy the Six-Game Prime Pack in 2009-10, featuring all six of the above listed games and get the giveaway guaranteed. Prices for the Six-Game Prime Packs are $60, $84, $102 and $120.
The first 500 fans that are a part of a group outing for any of the six prime dates will also be guaranteed a giveaway from that night’s game.
The first 5,000 fans to the Oct. 17 game will get an IceHogs 2009-10 Magnet Schedule and the first 500 members of a group will also get a special hockey puck. On Saturday, Nov. 14, the IceHogs will give away a mystery bobblehead that will be announced at a later date.
Nov. 25 is a guaranteed win night. If the IceHogs lose that game, everyone in attendance will get a ticket to another predetermined game. Every fan at the Dec. 26 will also have a chance to enter a drawing to have the IceHogs pay their home electricity bill from January until the IceHogs are eliminated from the postseason. All Six-Game Prime Pack purchasers and the first 500 fans that are a member of a group at the Nov. 25 and Dec. 26 games will get a free ticket to another predetermined game along with it.
Jan. 2 is a part of the IceHogs “Go Green” initiative at the Rockford MetroCentre and the IceHogs will be giving away “Go Green” t-shirts as a part of the theme. Winter Hat Night is set for Jan. 15.
An on sale date for individual tickets will be announced at a later date. Group tickets, however, can be purchased now by calling the IceHogs office at (815) 847-6399. Group ticket prices are $8, $11, $14 and $17.
All game dates and promotions are subject to change. Seats based upon availability of seat location and certain restrictions may apply.
Opponents and start times for these games will become available when the complete 2009-10 American Hockey League schedule is released later this summer. In operation since 1936, the AHL will again serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams when its 74th season gets underway on Friday, Oct. 2.
