IceHogs Fans Invited To Sign Declaration of Interdependence On Pride Night
As part of the Rockford IceHogs Pride Night game on Friday, Feb. 17, the IceHogs are inviting fans in attendance to sign a unique piece of artwork known as a “Declaration of Interdependence.” Those who choose to sign the “Declaration of Interdependence” agree to "end violence, end prejudice and achieve respect for all."
From 1988-1994, Rockfordian Roland Poska created 15 such “Declarations” and the IceHogs are proud to have one on hand as a symbol of inclusivity on Pride Night. The print will be displayed and available to sign at a table near the top of the escalators at the BMO Center. The 250 fans who choose to sign the “Declaration” will receive a postcard featuring the same artwork as the print they will have just signed. The first 1500 fans to enter the arena Friday night will receive an IceHogs Pride Night Logo Decal and it’s also another $2 Beer Night with cans of Budweiser, Bud Light, and Busch Light for just $2 through the end of the second intermission.
The IceHogs take on the Texas Stars at 7 p.m.
