IceHogs hold benefit for Sydney Ives Foundation at The Cherry Bowl
Rockford, Ill. – On Sunday, Mar. 16, the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League will host their Fifth Annual IceHogs Bowl-A-Thon.
The bowl-a-thon will be held at 2 p.m. at The Cherry Bowl; 7171 Cherryvale North Boulevard in Rockford. IceHogs players will be bowling with fans at the event to benefit the Sydney Ives Foundation, a charity created to help families with the cost of fighting for the life of an ill child.
All bowling lanes have been sold. However, viewing tickets may be purchased at the door for $10. These general admission tickets will include a regular raffle ticket and allow fans to watch the event, take photographs and get autographs.
New this year, each IceHogs player will wear a special IceHogs bowling shirt, adorned with the player’s name and number on the front and the IceHogs logo on the back. The bowling shirts will be awarded to the highest bidder of a blind silent auction at the end of the event. Auction boxes will be set up near the registration table for those who want to bid.
Prizes for the raffle tickets included with a bowl-a-thon ticket include an IceHogs signed stick, club lounge IceHogs tickets and much more.
