IceHogs giving away prizes via Twitter to those who help the Hogs reach 10,000 followers

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs look to become the 14th American Hockey League franchise to reach 10,000 Twitter followers – and with the help of the IceHogs faithful (#HogNation) that mark can be accomplished.

Once the Hogs Twitter account (@goicehogs) hits the 9,000 followers plateau, and for every proceeding 100 new followers, the IceHogs will tweet out a message encouraging fans to retweet and share with their friends.

For every 100 new followers the Hogs get leading up to 10,000 followers, prizes will be given out to one lucky Twitter follower who retweeted the IceHogs message. Once a winner is chosen, the next prize will then be revealed for the next Twitter message. *Note: Must be following @goicehogs to be eligible for a prize*

Prizes include: IceHogs players signed pucks, 2012-13 team-signed memorabilia, Colin Fraser Bobblehands figurine, autographed Martin St. Pierre game-used stick.

9,100 - One (1) fan wins puck signed by Carter Hutton
9,200 - One (1) fan wins a 2012-13 team signed IceHogs hat
9,300 - One (1) fan wins a 2012-13 team signed calendar
9,400 - One (1) fan wins a Colin Fraser bobblehands figurine and an IceHogs sock monkey
9,500 followers - One (1) fan wins autographed puck signed by player of their choice
9,600 followers - One (1) fan wins a #HogNation t-shirt signed by 2012-13 team
9,700 followers - One (1) fan wins an IceHogs mini stick signed by the 2012-13 squad
9,800 followers - One (1) fan wins a Youth Jersey signed by the 2012-13 team
9,900 followers - One (1) fan wins Martin St. Pierre's game-used stick signed by all the IceHogs
10,000 followers – One (1) fan wins a signed puck (from one of the following: Beach, Broadhurst, Hayes, Lavin, Mills, Morin, Pirri, Smith or Stanton) AND a 2012-13 signed Premier IceHogs jersey (Adult/M).
