The IceHogs carry 15 total Canadians on the team's active roster.

Original Affiliates: The IceHogs will play against four of the five other AHL affiliates of the NHL's "Original Six" this season. The IceHogs have already faced off against their Central Division rivals, the Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit Red Wings), last week. This weekend they'll see the reigning Calder Cup champion Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs). In the first week of March, the IceHogs will head east to play the Hartford Wolfpack (New York Rangers) and Providence Bruins (Boston Bruins). The only Original Six affiliate the IceHogs won't face this year is the Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens).

Return of the Cap: With his goal last weekend, Brett Seney inched highter on the IceHogs all-time points list. He currently stands just one point away from tying, and two from passing, franchise leader Brandon Pirri (214). Seney was born in London, ON, just two hours from Toronto, and played a full season for the Toronto Marlies in 2021-22, where he recorded 59 points.
