FISHING, READING, BASEBALL, SKATING ALL ON HAMMY�S WEEKEND SLATE
IceHogs scheduled to make six appearances this weekend
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs summer community tour is in full swing and the team, along with their mascot Hammy Hog, will make six appearances in the Rockford area this weekend. The busy weekend kicks off on Friday night at Tilted Kilt inside the Clock Tower Resort with a Chicago Blackhawks City Road Watch party at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Hammy’s day begins at 10 a.m. when he stops out to Rock Cut State Park to spend some time with the Rockford Lions at their annual Fish n’ Fun. The event features lots of activities for kids.
Hammy will then go from Rock Cut State Park to the Rockford Public Library. At 11 a.m. Hammy will appear at the library’s downtown branch, helping the Rockford Public Library kick-off their summer reading program. All kids in attendance can pick-up an issue of the “IceHogs Insider”.
Also beginning at 11 a.m. the IceHogs’ Fire & Ice Girls will be in Beloit for the Stateline Men’s Expo helping sell raffle tickets and handing out promotional items to the event’s attendees. The Stateline Men’s Expo will take place at Road Dawg, located at 2956 Milwaukee Road, and runs until 5 p.m. on Saturday.
To wrap up a busy Saturday, Hammy will head over to the Crystal Lake Ice House for a Guns n Hoses Game. The game begins at 3 p.m. and will feature several mascots from around the Chicagoland area.
On Sunday, Hammy will conclude his weekend community tour with a little Rockford Riverhawks baseball. Hammy will attend Rocco’s Mascot Party at Road Ranger Stadium beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Road Ranger Stadium while the Riverhawks battle the Fargo-Moorehead RedHawks. The game starts at 4:05 p.m.
