Comcast SportsNet Delivers Highest Blackhawks Ratings Ever
Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks in HD, delivered its highest Blackhawks ratings ever last Friday evening, March 27 -- a 2.13 household rating for its live coverage of the Blackhawks home ice battle against the New Jersey Devils.
In this thrilling overtime victory by the Blackhawks, Comcast SportsNet attracted approx. 74,400 households for the entire game and scored a 2.6 peak rating during the 9:45 PM quarter-hour (over 91,000 households). The 2.13 single game ratings record on Comcast

Comcast SportsNet was also the #1-highest rated television network in the Chicago market last Friday for the Men 18-34 demo during the game time period of 8:30-10:15 PM. Comcast SportsNet was #2 overall in the market for Men 18-49 & Men 25-54 from 9:30-10:15 PM and #3 overall for Adults 18-49 during the 9:45 PM quarter-hour.
So far this season, the Blackhawks on Comcast SportsNet are currently averaging a 1.11 household rating, a year-to-date increase of 76% compared to last season. Comcast SportsNet’s next Blackhawks telecast airs Wednesday night, April 1, as the Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues (coverage begins at 7:00 PM).
