The Chicago Blackhawks are proud to introduce Cary Stolarczyk (stoh-LAR-zik) as the winner of the Illinois Lottery “Million Dollar Minute” from Monday’s game against the Minnesota Wild.

Stolarczyk, an Indian Head Park, IL resident, is a first-year season ticketholder who was sitting in the location randomly chosen at the beginning of the game for the “Million Dollar Minute”.

Right wing Martin Havlat scored at exactly the 10:00 minute mark of the second period during Monday’s game against the Minnesota Wild, meaning Stolarczyk won one million dollars courtesy of the Illinois Lottery “Million Dollar Minute” promotion.

For the promotion, one fan is selected to win one million dollars if the Blackhawks score a goal at exactly the 10:00 minute mark of the second period. The seat location and section is chosen randomly at the beginning of each home game. The “Million Dollar Minute” promotion began Wed., Jan. 14, 2009.

In the event that the Blackhawks do not score a goal at exactly the 10:00 minute mark of second period, every fan sitting in the selected section wins an instant lottery ticket courtesy of the Illinois Lottery.
