BLACKHAWKS AND DETROIT OPEN SERIES ON SUNDAY
Chicago, Ill.-The Chicago Blackhawks will launch their Western Conference Final series, the team’s first appearance in the National Hockey League’s semifinals in 14 years, when they face off against the Detroit Red Wings beginning at Joe Louis Arena on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 P.M. (CT) and Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 P.M. (CT).
Games 3 and 4 will be held at the United Center, where the Blackhawks are 5-1 this postseason, on Friday, May 22 at 7:00 P.M. (CT) and Sunday, May 24 at 2:00 P.M. (CT). If necessary, the Red Wings would host Game 5 at Joe Louis Arena on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30P.M. (CT), the Blackhawks would host Game 6 at the United Center on Saturday, May 30 at 7:00 P.M. (CT) and Detroit would host Game 7 at Joe Louis Arena on Monday, June 1 at 6:30 P.M. (CT).
Per the National Hockey League, rightsholders NBC and VERSUS in the United States and CBC, TSN and RDS in Canada will provide exclusive broadcast coverage of the Conference Finals.
