Chicago Blackhawks forwards Colin Fraser and Troy Brouwer will trade in their ice skates and hockey sticks for boots and waders as they participate in Shedd Aquarium’s Beluga Encounter program –one of the newest extraordinary experiences offered to guests!
Along with four lucky Blackhawks fans, the players will learn how Shedd’s marine mammal trainers feed and care for the Oceanarium animals everyday. After an orientation session, the group will step into the waist-deep water of Shedd’s Grainger Beluga Encounter Habitat and encounter a beluga whale like never before –they may tickle a tongue or even rub its belly!
