BACON BITS RETURNS TO MYSTATELINE.COM THIS WEEKEND
Monthly show now on the Web
Rockford, Ill.- The February edition of Bacon Bits hits the World Wide Web on Saturday. The magazine style show is hosted by WTVO-TV Sport Director Scott Leber and Weekend Sports Anchor Adam Werner and will be featured on www.mystateline.com.
This month’s show will feature the veteran of the IceHogs 2008-09 club, Danny Groulx. Groulx is in the midst of a career season with Rockford and Bacon Bits will take a look at the IceHogs alternate captain’s career.
Ever wonder what goes behind the scenes in the IceHogs locker room? Bacon Bits will take a peek at what tasks IceHogs Head Equipment Manager Jim Heintzleman and Assistant Equipment Tim Clive take on. The segment truly goes behind the scenes in the Hogs locker room.
Bacon Bits will catch up with several former IceHogs now donning Blackhawks sweaters. Leber and Werner recently visited the Blackhawks practice facility to talk to Kris Versteeg, Troy Brouwer and Colin Fraser. Former IceHogs coach Mike Haviland also stopped by to talk about his jump to the National Hockey League.
All-Star center Petri Kontiola will be featured as well and talks about the honor of getting selected to his first career All-Star Game. And as always, Bacon Bits will feature the ever popular HogTied and Fan Spotlight segments.
Bacon Bits will be featured on www.mystateline.com for the entire month of February.
