Rockford, Ill.- Bacon Bits, the popular 30-minute TV show on FOX-39 featuring the Rockford IceHogs is back this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The bi-monthly show is hosted by WTVO Sports Director Scott Leber and WTVO Weekend Sports Anchor Adam Warner.
This week’s show will recap the recent 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Game. IceHogs forward Mark Cullen and Jack Skille both participated in the event that included the Ducks Unlimited Skills Competition and the All-Star Game. The event was hosted by the Portland Pirates and held in Portland, Maine.
Warner will chat with IceHogs forward Pete MacArthur and will discuss his sophomore season with Rockford and his All-Star break. The show will also recap the IceHogs previous two weeks on the ice.
Bacon Bits’ static features are back, including an interview with IceHogs Head Coach Bill Peters and another “Xs” and “Os” segment with Assistant Coach Ted Dent.
