2nd Annual Blackhawks Convention Passes On Sale January 17

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced passes for the second annual Chicago Blackhawks Convention will go on sale to the general public on Sat., Jan. 17 at 10:00 A.M.

Passes are available through chicagoblackhawks.com, Blackhawks Store (333 N. Michigan Ave. in Chicago), Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 312-559-1212. Passes are valid for the entire weekend and are $55 each.Hotel packages are also available, which include a quantity of two (2) passes per night booked, by calling the Hilton Chicago at 1-877-865-5320.

The second annual Chicago Blackhawks Convention will be held at the Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave.) on Fri., July 17, Sat., July 18 and Sun., July 19, 2009.

Last year, the Inaugural Chicago Blackhawks Convention, the first of its kind in the National Hockey League, sold out in less than two weeks and entertained over 10,000 fans. It included Blackhawks Hall of Famers Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita and Tony Esposito, along with current players Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, while Blackhawks and national television analyst Eddie Olczyk served as honorary chairman. Olczyk will serve as honorary chairman again in 2009.

For the second consecutive year, both current Blackhawks players and alumni will be in attendance throughout the weekend of the convention, which will include autograph and photo sessions, Q&A session, exhibits and interactive games and much more.
