ZACH MISKOVIC TO TAKE CUTS IN CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME
Rockford, Ill. – Rockford IceHogs defenseman Zach Miskovic will play in a celebrity softball game on Thursday, May 28 at East High School in Rockford.
The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature local celebrities against East High School Staff. The annual event is open to the public and benefits the East High School Athletic Department. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Other local celebrity players include: Derek Bayne (WREX Sports Director), Joe Bruscato (Winnebago County State's Attorney), Kevin Haas (Rockford Register Star Reporter) Tim Hanson (Director of Rockford Public Works) Mark Henderson (WIFR Chief Meteorologist), Zach James (WIFR Weekend Sports Anchor), Whitney Martin (WIFR News Anchor), Craig Monroe (Rock Valley College Head Softball Coach), Misty Opat (Rock Valley College Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach), Mat Parker (Rockford Public Schools Director of Athletics and Program Development), Emily Tropp (Rockford Public Schools Project Coordinator), Andrew Weber (Rockford University Head Men's Basketball Coach), and Eric Wilson (Rock Valley College New Student Enrollment Coordinator).
Former IceHogs captain Jared Nightingale participated in last year’s event.
