YOUNGEST FANS WRAP UP WINTER BREAK ON ICE WITH HOGS
Rockford, Ill. - With many local students heading back to school on Tuesday, some of the Rockford IceHogs helped members of the Runts Kids Club enjoy their last day of winter break Monday night at Carlson Ice Arena.
Rookies Rob Flick, Byron Froese, David Gilbert, Joe Lavin, Dylan Olsen, Philippe Paradis, Andrew Shaw, and Ben Youds, along with second-year forwards Brandon Bollig and Peter LeBlanc, spent a couple hours Monday evening signing autographs and skating with some of their youngest fans at the annual Runts Club Hockey Clinic.
The IceHogs skaters facilitated a pair of clinics for Runts Club members on the night. In the first session, inexperienced skaters had a chance to practice their skills with the help of the Hogs. More advanced skaters participated in drills and a scrimmage with the IceHogs during the second session.
