Rockford, Ill. – The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs announced on Friday that they have reassigned forward Jamie Wise from Rockford to the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.
Wise, 23, shows three goals and 11 penalty minutes in 22 contests with the IceHogs this season. The rookie forward scored in his AHL debut on Nov. 28 against the Chicago Wolves. The Stouffville, Ontario native has also appeared in 15 games with the Fuel this season, registering four points (1g-3a) and 12 PIMs.
Prior to turning pro, Wise spent two seasons with Ryerson University in Toronto. The 23 year-old paced the Rams with 45 points (21g-24a) in 2013-14 and was named team MVP and a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.
