ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs are hosting a scavenger hunt through the team’s Twitter account, @goicehogs, to give away tickets to the first home game of the upcoming 2017-18 season. Fans can participate by following tweeted clues to a specific location around the Rockford area, and the first fan to complete each scavenger hunt will receive a prize pack that includes four lower-level tickets to opening night on Oct. 14.
The IceHogs officially kick-off the event with their first scavenger hunt this Saturday, June 10. The Hogs will post hints to the location of a prize pack throughout the day on Twitter, beginning with the contest's first clue at 10 a.m., and will await the winner of the scavenger hunt in-person on Saturday. The first fan to arrive at the specified location and notify the IceHogs representative will win four tickets to the 2017-18 home opener and signed team memorabilia.
In addition and following the grand-prize winner, the next three fans who complete the scavenger hunt will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket voucher for opening night.
The full schedule for the exciting new promotion features a total of four scavenger hunts on June 10, 17, 23 and 24. Prize packs are unchanging for each contest, with first-place winners receiving four tickets to opening night and the next three fans to complete each hunt receiving BOGO ticket vouchers.
