Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs will be giving away tickets to the April 10 sold-out Carrie Underwood show at the Rockford MetroCentre on Saturday to close out the regular season against the Milwaukee Admirals.
The team will host an airplane toss following the game. All fans in attendance will be given a paper airplane to throw on the ice for a chance to win the Carrie Underwood tickets as well as airline vouchers from Allegiant Air, teeth whitening from Dental Dimensions, tickets to a Beloit Snappers baseball game and several other prizes from Nestle, Texas Roadhouse, High Maintenance, Frito-Lay, the Rockford Park District and Guzzle Glove.
The first 2,500 fans will also get an IceHogs beach towel courtesy of Bob FM and WIFR. As it is the final home game of the regular season, the IceHogs will present their annual team awards including Team MVP, Unsung Hero, Top Defenseman, Hardest Hitter and Rookie of the Year. It will also mark the final appearance by Super Fan Cameron Hughes, who will make his first performance at the MetroCentre since returning from the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Additionally, the game marks the final Golden Goal Game, where all fans will have a chance to win $10,000 if the IceHogs score with 9:10 left on the clock in the third period.
