IceHogs Can't Find Second Point in 2-1 Shootout Loss

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that Blackhawks forward Jason Williams underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a sports hernia.
Williams is expected to be out approximately six weeks. Williams has appeared in 20 games for the Blackhawks this season scoring 7 goals to go along with 12 assists for 19 points. Five of his seven goals have come on the power play when he was very effective on the point.
Williams also has two game winning goals to his credit this season. Williams’ last game was on November 28th when he registered an assist in the Blackhawks 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
