Over the past 3 years, we've seen plenty of IceHogs players make the jump from the AHL to the NHL. We've even had a few UHL Hogs make it to the top as well. Raitis Ivanans is one of them. Ivanans, who played over 50 games in Rockford from 2002-2004, is currently playing for the Calgary Flames. He spent the last 4 years as a member of the Los Angeles Kings. Raitis met his wife Darcy here in Rockford,where they both still live during the summer. He currently trains over at "The Zone' in Loves Park that's where I caught up with him today. Raitis, who was 20th in the league in penalty minutes, is one of the NHL's top enforcers. Read more and watch the video
