Bacon Bits:
-The Rockford IceHogs were swept in their home-and-home series with Grand Rapids last week and have now lost 10 of their last 11 games since Feb. 25. The Hogs are 1-8-1-0 during that stretch and currently rank eighth in the Central Division with an overall record of 22-33-9-2 this season.

-Rockford extended its home losing streak to a season-high six straight games with a 4-0 loss vs. Grand Rapids on Saturday. The Hogs began that skid with a 2-0 blanking by Charlotte on Feb. 18, and following Saturday's loss to the Griffins, have suffered two home shutouts in 36 days. The IceHogs previously went two full calendar years between home shutouts from Feb. 18, 2015 (4-0 vs. San Antonio) to Feb. 18, 2017 (2-0 vs. Charlotte).

-The Hogs have allowed 4+ goals in eight of their last 10 games since Feb. 26. Opponents have scored a combined 41 goals in those last 10 games for an average of 4.1 goals/game against the IceHogs.

-Rookie Luc Snuggerud tallied an assist on Friday at Grand Rapids and now has points (2a) in two of his first four AHL games. Snuggerud recently finished his collegiate career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he ranked second among league defenseman in 2016-17 with 31 points in 39 games.

-Tyler Motte scored a goal on Friday at Grand Rapids to extend his point streak to a season-high four straight games. Motte concluded that stretch with 2g-3a-5pts in four games from March 14-24.

-Kyle Baun notched an assist on Friday and enters this week's schedule with 2g-2a-4pts over his last five games since March 14. Baun has skated to an even-or-better plus/minus in four of those five games, combining for a +5 rating over that stretch.

-Michael Latta assisted on an IceHogs goal during Friday's contest for his 12th point (1g, 11a) with Rockford. Latta has now found the scoresheet in nine of his 12 road games with the IceHogs, totaling 1g-8a-9pts on the road.

Upcoming Home Games:
Friday, Mar. 31: Rockford hosts the Texas Stars for the fourth and final 2016-17 season meeting at 7 p.m. The first 1,500 fans to enter the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive an IceHogs beach towel courtesy of Peak Fitness. It's also a Blues Flame Friday pregame party presented by District Bar & Grill. Doors to the Blue Flame Lounge on the main concourse open at 5:15 p.m. for the pregame festivities. Fans 21-and-older are invited to enjoy live music from Recently Paroled, a happy hour special, and free appetizers at the Blue Flame Lounge.

Saturday, April 1: The Rockford IceHogs welcome the Grand Rapids Griffins to the BMO Harris Bank Center for the 10th and final season meeting at 7 p.m. It's also the 18th annual IceHogs Jersey Auction Night compliments of Insurance King. Following the game, Rockford will host a live jersey auction on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice.

Bud Light Monthly Monday Hog Talk At Vintage 501:
Bud Light Hog Talk returns to Vintage 501 Monday, April 3 from 6-7 p.m. The sixth show will feature forward Tyler Motte and goaltender Jeff Glass along with IceHogs Head Coach Ted Dent. Vintage 501 is located in downtown Rockford at 501 E. State St. Fans can join broadcaster Bob Mills and Kevin Peters from 6-7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month throughout the season as the duo chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. For those unable to attend the show in-person, Monday’s show will be streaming live on WXRX.com. “Bud Light Hog Talk” will also be available on www.icehogs.com following the live show. Fans can access the podcast through the “Audio Highlights” link in the “Multimedia” menu.
