Bacon Bits:
-The IceHogs suffered a 5-2 loss at Milwaukee on March 10 in their lone game last week. Rockford is now riding a six-game losing streak and is winless over its last three road games since Feb. 25. The Hogs return home for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee having dropped a season-high four straight home games, dating to Feb. 18.

-Rockford has allowed just four power-play goals over its last 15 games beginning Feb. 7. The IceHogs PK unit has killed off a combined 46 of 50 power plays (92.0%) in that time.

-Vinnie Hinostroza tallied his first multi-point game with the IceHogs this season with a goal and an assist on Friday at Milwaukee. Hinostroza led the Hogs with 51 points (18g, 33a) last season, and now has 1g-3a-4pts in nine AHL contests in 2016-17.

-Michael Latta joined Hinostroza with his first IceHogs goal of the season on Friday against the Admirals. Latta enters the week with 1g-8a-9pts in 20 games with Rockford in 2016-17, and 3g-12a-15pts in 49 total AHL contests this year between the Hogs and Ontario Reign. In addition, Latta recorded two penalty minutes during Saturday's loss to eclipse the 100-PIM mark for the third straight season.

-Martin Lundberg reached the 20-point plateau for his AHL rookie season with an assist during Friday's loss. Lundberg has now produced 8g-12a-20pts and a +1 plus/minus rating in 59 games with the IceHogs during his first year at the AHL level.

-Brandon Mashinter recorded an assist at Milwaukee for his 21st point (12g, 9a) of the season. Mashinter began the season with eight of those 21 points in his first 23 games through action on Jan. 7, but has since produced 8g-5a-13pts in 24 games since returning from an injury on Jan. 8.

Upcoming Home Games:
Tuesday, Mar. 14: The IceHogs host the Admirals in the ninth season matchup between the two teams at 7 p.m. Tuesday night’s matchup with Milwaukee is highlighted by a St. Patrick's Day Pre-Game Party. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early with live music from "Danny's Gone Rogue" and special St. Patrick's Day-themed food and drink in the Blue Flame Lounge. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for the event and fans must be 21 or older to attend the pre-game party. It is also a Fas Fuel Winning Weekday and a WXRX Dollar Day featuring $2 beers, sodas, hot dogs and companion tickets, and if the IceHogs win every fan in attendance can redeem their ticket for a FREE ticket to the next weekday home game. Additionally, one lucky fan will win a $50 Fas Fuel gas card.

Bud Light Monthly Monday Hog Talk At Vintage 501:
Bud Light Hog Talk returns to Vintage 501 today from 6-7 p.m. The fifth show will feature defenseman Gustav Forsling, forward Vinnie Hinostroza and assistant coach Derek King. Vintage 501 is located in downtown Rockford at 501 E. State St. Fans can join broadcaster Bob Mills and Kevin Peters from 6-7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month throughout the season as the duo chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. For those unable to attend the show in-person, Monday’s show will be streaming live on WXRX.com. “Bud Light Hog Talk” will also be available on www.icehogs.com following the live show. Fans can access the podcast through the “Audio Highlights” link in the “Multimedia” menu.
