Bacon Bits:
-The Rockford IceHogs extended their season-high road win and point streaks through the first two games of last week's road trip before suffering a 3-2 loss at San Diego on Saturday. The Hogs won three straight road games and notched a five-game road point streak (Feb. 3-22) during that stretch.

-Rockford went 2-2-0-0 during last week's games and boasts a 7-3-0-3 record during the month of February. The IceHogs have points in 10 of 13 games this month and 17 of 26 possible points in that span.

-Lars Johansson posted his second shutout of the season with a 35-save effort on Feb. 22 at Manitoba. Johansson has gone 4-0-0-3 with a 1.76 GAA over his last seven games since Jan. 14.

-Spencer Abbott scored the lone shootout goal in Wednesday's 1-0 win against the Moose. Abbott currently leads the AHL with four shootout goals and three game-winning shootout goals this season.

-Eric Gustafsson tallied a pair of multi-point efforts last week with two assists at Manitoba (Feb. 21) and Ontario (Feb. 26). Gustafsson ranks first among AHL defenseman and third overall in the league with 12 assists over his last 16 games since Jan. 25.

-Ville Pokka scored a power-play goal on Feb. 25 at San Diego and tallied a power-play assist the following night at Ontario. Pokka has scored each of his four goals this season while on the power play and currently leads all IceHogs skaters with 16 power-play points.

Upcoming Home Games:
Tuesday, Feb. 28: The IceHogs host the Moose in the fifth season matchup between the two teams at 7 p.m. Tuesday is a Fas Fuel Winning Weekday and a WXRX Dollar Day featuring $2 beers, sodas, hot dogs and companion tickets, and if the IceHogs win every fan in attendance can redeem their ticket for a FREE ticket to the next weekday home game. Additionally, one lucky fan will win a $50 Fas Fuel gas card.

Friday, Mar. 3: Rockford faces the Moose in the sixth contest of the season series. Puck drops at 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans 21 and older to enter the arena will receive an IceHogs grill spatula courtesy of Bud Light. It's also a Blues Flame Friday pregame party presented by District Bar & Grill. Doors to the Blue Flame Lounge on the main concourse open at 5:15 p.m. for the pregame festivities. Fans 21-and-older are invited to enjoy live music from Paula Pena, a happy hour special, and free appetizers at the Blue Flame Lounge.

Saturday, Mar. 4: The Rockford IceHogs face the Iowa Wild in their seventh season meeting on Autism Awareness Night. Game time is 7 p.m. and the first 1,500 fans to enter the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a set of coasters (four) compliments of The Autism Program of Easterseals.

Bud Light Monthly Monday Hog Talk At Vintage 501:
Bud Light Hog Talk has been cancelled for February. Vintage 501 is located in downtown Rockford at 501 E. State St. Fans can join broadcaster Bob Mills and Kevin Peters from 6-7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month throughout the season as the duo chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. For those unable to attend the show in-person, Monday’s show will be streaming live on WXRX.com. “Bud Light Hog Talk” will also be available on www.icehogs.com following the live show. Fans can access the podcast through the “Audio Highlights” link in the “Multimedia” menu.

The IceHogs Broadcasting Network:
Catch every IceHogs game, home and road, in 2016-17 on WIFR’s “Justice Network” on 23.3. The games can also be viewed on Comcast Cable channel 434, Charter Cable channel 194, Dish Network channel 252 or Mediacom 102 in the Rockford market and online through AHLLive.com.
