Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced Saturday that they have recalled forward Dane Walters from the Toledo Walleye (ECHL).
Walters, 26, has appeared in one game for the IceHogs this season, recording two shots on goal. The St. Paul, Minn. native has registered two assists in six contests with the Walleye.
Last season, Walters notched one goal and five assists in 19 games with Rockford. Prior to joining the IceHogs in 2014-15, the winger tallied 17 points (9g-8a) in 27 games with the Walleye.
Next Home Game: Sunday, Nov. 22 vs. Lake Erie at 4 p.m.: The IceHogs face Lake Erie for the first time all season on Stanley Cup Night at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Rockford will celebrate its alumni and the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks by displaying the Cup for fans in attendance. Hub Printing will give away 2,500 posters celebrating the Blackhawks championships.
