"Vote Blackhawks Day" In Chicago Today
Who/What: The Chicago Blackhawks will set up remote voting stations around the Chicago area to help forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane and defenseman Brian Campbell get elected as starters on the Western Conference team in the 2009 NHL All-Star Game at the Bell Centre in Montreal on January 29.
When: Tue., Dec. 16
Where: The different voting stations will be set up at:
Blackhawks Store, 330 N. Michigan Ave.,10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Chicago Sun-Times Building, 350 W. Mart Center Dr., 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Mount Prospect, 301 E. Euclid Ave, 8:00 to 11:00 P.M.
Event Information:
Blackhawks fans have their chance to send three of their own to the 2009 NHL All-Star Game by stopping by one of the three voting stations or by logging on to chicagoblackhawks.com.
As of Dec. 16, Kane ranks first among Western Conference forwards with 325,017 votes. Toews places seventh with 261,447 votes and Campbell ranks third among Western Conference defensemen with 270,013 votes. For the first time ever, fans access up to the minute voting results at vote.nhl.com.
Fans unable to visit any of the polling stations can still vote for their favorite Blackhawks via chicagoblackhawks.com or nhl.com through Jan. 2. They can also vote for all three players by texting “HAWKS” to 81812.
