The United Center and Harris unveiled today an exclusive club for fans to experience Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks games – the Harris Club. The new Club offers fans for the first time a luxurious executive suite experience at a fraction of the cost of suite ownership.

Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz, Harris Bankcorp CEO Ellen Costello along with Bulls players Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah as well as Blackhawks players Patrick Kane and Adam Burish were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and luncheon to debut the Club.

In honor of the Club opening, Patrick Kane, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft, took on Derrick Rose, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, in a game of Nintendo Wii basketball that is featured in the Club. Additionally, Joakim Noah faced off against Adam Burish in a game of Nintendo Wii hockey.

“The Harris Club is a fantastic addition to a world class facility,” said Justine Fedak, senior vice president, marketing and customer strategies, Harris. “Harris is Chicago's hometown bank and official bank of the Bulls and proud sponsor of the Blackhawks, so sponsoring the Club and helping create an entertaining and relaxing environment for fans -- many of whom are our clients -- is a perfect fit for us.”

Located in the west end of the United Center’s Club Suite Level, membership to the Harris Club includes the following:

- 45 Bulls and 44 Blackhawks preseason and regular season home games
- Buffet-style dining with all beverages included at no additional charge
- One parking pass for every two seats purchased
- Three bars located within the Club Lounge atmosphere with couches, flat screen televisions, pool table, and Nintendo Wii
- Ample room to circulate within the Club

Membership to the Club can be purchased for one, three or five-year terms. Tickets for the 2008-09 season are available for $15,750/seat for the season (only $175/seat per game) with no limits on how many seats fans can purchase.

“When we opened the United Center, we heard from many of our guests who said that they wanted to watch the Bulls, Hawks, or experience concerts in a suite-like environment, but who didn’t need the 12 to 14 seats that come with a suite,” said Steve Schanwald, senior vice president of marketing for the United Center. “This new product will fill the needs of those fans.”

Harris Club members also have the opportunity to purchase tickets to other United Center events such as concerts and college basketball games.

Additionally, the Harris Club offers two, private, 20-person arena view meeting rooms, fully equipped with state-of-the-art presentation technology supported by IT and administrative professionals. The two unique meeting rooms are available to purchase during United Center events and also on non-event days.

Purchasing a meeting room also includes 20 tickets to the Harris Club, four parking passes, and access to food and beverages in the Club. To ensure privacy for the guests, the arena view rooms are glass-enclosed. Members of the Harris Club have first priority in reserving the rooms.
