TWO TO TOLEDO AND ONE TO CINCINNATI

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs announced today that forward Pat Mullane has been loaned to the Toledo Walleye (ECHL), and forward Philippe Lefebvre has been reassigned by the Chicago Blackhawks to Toledo. Additionally, forward Byron Froese has been reassigned by Chicago to the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL).

Mullane, 23, has registered five assists and four goals in 37 contests for the IceHogs this season. In five games with the Walleye, Mullane has recorded three points (2g-1a), including his first career professional goal on Dec. 20.

The rookie forward is playing in his first pro campaign after spending four years at Boston College. The Wallingford, Conn. native posted 42 goals and 98 assists over his four year career with the Eagles.

Lefebvre, 22, posted four goals in 25 games with the IceHogs this season. The Trois-Rivieres, PQ native has played in one game with the Walleye in Nov. 2013 and started the season with the Cincinnati Cyclones where he netted two goals and five assists in nine contests.

Froese has posted five assists in 28 games for Rockford this season. The Winkler, Manitoba native was a 4th round draft pick (119 overall) in the 2009 NHL entry draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.

In three years with the IceHogs, Froese has skated in 94 games, posting four goals and 13 assists. Last season the 22 year old appeared in 38 games with the Toledo Walleye where he registered 33 points (12g-21a).
