TRAINING CAMP: DAY 2

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs started training camp on Sunday and have two practices on Monday at the BMO Harris Bank Center in preparation for Wednesday’s preseason opener against the Chicago Wolves.

IceHogs goalie Mac Carruth has taken the majority of the reps in training camp between the pipes. The rest of the IceHogs veterans currently in Rockford are practicing with the 13 players that have been brought in on try-out contracts. Contracted players in Rockford for the start of training camp include Wade Brookbank (AHL), David Gilbert (NHL), Pat Mullane (AHL) and Jared Nightingale (AHL).
