TOY DRIVE HIGHLIGHTS WEEKEND SET AT THE BMO
Rockford, Ill.- Friday kicks off a back-to-back set for the Rockford IceHogs against the Oklahoma City Barons at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Both games start at 7 p.m. and this will be the first time the IceHogs and Barons have faced off this season.
The first 2,500 fans to the BMO on Friday will receive a plush Hubert the Lion doll courtesy of BMO Harris Bank.
Fans at Saturday’s game can take advantage of the Girl Scout Cookie Kickoff. Girl Scout cookies can be ordered at the game prior to the beginning of the usual cookie sales.
Both games this weekend at the BMO will be a part of the annual Toy Drive with Toys for Tots. Those in attendance may bring a toy for donation and will receive a ticket voucher to the IceHogs game on January 3 or 4. Vouchers will be limited to one per person. U.S. Marines will be on hand to accept the donations for the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Also this weekend, the IceHogs and ESPN 1380 continue their equipment drive to benefit the Stateline Boys and Girls Club. All gently used or new sports equipment will be accepted, including bats, balls, gloves, sticks, helmets, skates, cleats, shoes, etc… Sports apparel will not be accepted. The equipment drive will run until Saturday, Dec. 21, and all donated equipment will be distributed to the Stateline Boys and Girls Club.
All fans that participate by bringing an article of sports gear to the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a special ticket offer (buy one ticket, get one free) for any IceHogs home game through January 10th.
