Three key West Division games slated for Week 22
Week 21 Recap
With their second to final four-game week of 2009-10 in the books, the Rockford IceHogs continue to hold the second spot in the AHL’s West Division after three wins during Week 21. All three of Rockford’s wins came at home, but now the team will play seven of its next nine contests away from the Rockford MetroCentre, including two this week in Milwaukee and Chicago.

-Matt Keith tallied Rockford’s first hat-trick of the season on Friday in Rockford’s 6-5 win over San Antonio
-Rockford’s hasn’t had a three-goal performance since Tim Brent scored three goals at Milwaukee on 2/19/09, exactly one year ago to the date
-Rockford has not had a losing record for 10 straight weeks dating back to Week 11 of the 2009-10 AHL regular season when they went 1-2-0-0
-During that 10-week stretch the IceHogs have a record of 19-8-0-2
-Pete MacArthur chipped in five assists in Friday and Saturday’s games combined
-Corey Crawford had a personal five-game road unbeaten streak (4-0-0-1) come to an end on Sunday in Rockford’s 4-1 loss at Milwaukee, dating back to 1/10/10
-Richard Petiot’s plus/minus rating of +4 on Friday against San Antonio was an IceHogs single-game high this season

-Winger Adam Hobson chipped in his 100th career professional point on Sunday with an assist
-Jack Skille recorded two multi-point games during Week 21 and now has 34 career multi-point games with Rockford, fifth most all-time and six shy of Preston Mizzi’s team record 40 multi-point contests
-Petri Kontiola is Rockford’s all-time AHL multi-point leader with 36 multi-point games
Hot Hog Week 21:
Winger Matt Keith tallied four goals in four games for the IceHogs in Week 21 and two of his markers were game winners. The winger notched three goals in Friday’s 6-5 win over San Antonio, Rockford’s first hat-trick of the season. Keith then came back on Saturday and helped complete a third period comeback over the Rampage with his second game-winning goal in as many nights in the third period. Keith also completed the week with a plus/minus rating of +3.
Upcoming Games:
Thursday, Feb. 25 at Milwaukee Admirals: The game starts 7 p.m. Rockford returns to the Bradley Center for the fifth and final time in the regular season. The game is the second of two-straight contests in Milwaukee for the IceHogs and is ninth of ten meetings overall this season.
Saturday, Feb. 27 vs. Peoria Rivermen: Game time is 7:05 p.m. It’s Blackhawks Night presented by Taco Bell at the MetroCentre as fans will have an opportunity to meet Blackhawks assistant coach Mike Haviland along with forwards Kris Versteeg, Troy Brouwer, Colin Fraser, defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson and goalie Antti Niemi. The IceHogs will be hosting a silent auction and also giving away five game worn IceHogs jerseys throughout the game.
Sunday, Feb. 28 at Chicago Wovlves: The puck drops at 3 p.m. The IceHogs and Wolves meet for the first time since Dec. 27 when they get together at the Allstate Arena. The trip to Rosemont on Sunday is the final one during the regular season for the IceHogs and the match-up is the ninth of ten on the campaign.

Bud Light Hog Talk returns tonight at Hooters in Rockford near State and Perryville.
